An ex-EMEA Technical Operations Manager of Commerce One Inc., a B2B online commerce software company, and Managing Director of Ayanaa Consulting, LLC, an IT Sourcing Consultancy, recently publicized the debut of BetXTech, a new online software solution developer. BetXTech is the trading name of Betting Exchange Technologies Ltd. The company´s expertise is developing and providing exchange betting software products, to be used by betting exchanges, bookmakers and casinos.
BetXTech has already launched the X-Connect™ product, an Internet-based software that offers online operators the ability to run their own margin-based, no-risk Sportsbook. The software provides operators with the ability to work with the most advanced betting exchange platforms in the world. BetXTech is also planning a Q2 2006 product launch of the company’s bundled software and hardware Electronic-Point-of Sale (EPOS) solution, a till-based cashier system, to be potentially purchased by retail betting shops and casinos.
Melcom Copeland, a managing director for Ayanaa Consulting, was quoted as saying, “It´s only a matter of time that high street bookmakers, independent bookies, and casinos adapt exchange betting offerings into their own business models to stay competitive in this consolidating marketplace. Once the success of early adapters has become evident, the ROI made by operators into the solutions we are developing will be more than justified.“
